So... AOL have changed their TOS for intant messanger to allow them to do whatever they like with what you post or give it to whoever they like to do with what they please without any need to inform you.
"by posting Content on an AIM Product, you grant AOL, its parent, affiliates, subsidiaries, assigns, agents and licensees the irrevocable, perpetual, worldwide right to reproduce, display, perform, distribute, adapt and promote this Content in any medium. You waive any right to privacy. You waive any right to inspect or approve uses of the Content or to be compensated for any such uses."
Um..... this is not a good thing and lots of people are dumping the messanger. It's not that I use any messangers that often, or that any content would be of any consequence, but this certainly is not an incentive to want to 'log on'. It's more likely to leave me feeling like my phone has been tapped and my room bugged. Just as well I don't have a leaning toward paranoia eh? *cough*
