Just to bring 'closure' so to speak, the parcel this morning did include 'the ring' the necklace wasn't the present but one I hadn't known my mum had given her the day she left and photos of my brother as a kiddo. Poor guy looks like he's been kicked repeatedly in the stomach but he's handling it better than we expected, this afternoon my mum was preparing for broken furniture and a trashed house, she really was!
