What would you rather?

If you could have your choice between the most wonderful, vivid and seemingly real dreams of pefect, undying love each and every night, but be alone the rest of your waking life;


or....


have nothing but horrid, disturbing, terrifying painful and seemingly real nightmares each and every night but have a loving mate the rest of your waking life, which would you chose and why?

You know, I think I'd have to go for the disturbing nightmare option, at least your love would be there to comfort you when you woke and you'd have them all the rest of the time too... to me there'd be an emptiness in having the most wonderful dreams of perfect unflawed love, no matter how real, for what is the short period of time your asleep, to awaken to nothing.... I don't think I'd like to find myself in that position
