My brother is a fucking ass...

My sister is coming in from Scotland tonight, as my mum was working and my dad would be in bed (he has to get up and go work at 2am) before she was arriving, my brother was aked yesterday to make sure he goes to pick her up when she gets in (around 11pm). Well I just got a call from her informing me that he had just left a message on her phone to let her know he wouldn't be able to as he had chosen to get drunk instead, nice huh? and she should make her own way to our home. Very little is asked of him, and I would think picking his sister up, whom he rarely sees, would be one of those times he could manage not to piss about. We go out of our way for him and he couldn't give a shit... I'm to disappointed to be angry and I'm far from surprised. I can't drive or I would be on my way now to get her.

Yesterday

Yesterday was simply great :D Spent the say at Exploris (local aquarium) and had a blast, got soaked lol! Went to the sailing club for something to eat and then watched the end of the Portaferry Gala well we really couldn't get anywhere as the whole town was somewhat blocked off and I've never seen so many people! It was great though, lots of bands and fun floats. Today though has been just frustrating, nothing is working, the forum is down (I've reported it but an 'official' has yet to even acknowledge that there's a problem though I'm obviously not alone pub145 is simply dead) Can't do anything with the site because the webshell won't load for me and all in all it's leading to me simply not wanting to be online. I could resize and upload the couple of decent pics I got from the aquarium but I have wondered into 'bleh...' land and I think I'll stay for a bit...

Catch Up #2 (split as blogger is being funny about post length...)

Sat 19th:
Boss's love had to attend a wedding with her father so we left her over there and on the way back stopped off to replenish the vodka stock (i know, I know! yes it nearly killed me lol!) had another great night of chatting which carried on when his love returned and joined us until the wee small hours.

Sun 20th:
Packed everything up again and we all headed out for one last meal before heading to the airport. It was a stunning place really scenic and pretty and we rambled around a close by river after to give the puppy a little excercise. Barely made the plane but I was glad not to have to be waiting around as it was all getting a little emotional. Hopefully though they will be coming over here near the end of the year to stay with us :D

Apart from the above things have been touched with such sadness... two people I love to bits have had major losses in their lives, one her father and the other her brother who was only 24. Things are certainly put in perspective... and I hope they know they are in my thoughts.

Thurs 17th:
happy b'day to me, happy b'day to meeeeeeeeeeeeee! Got some great gifts!, set of books (infamous murders and mysteries - case studies) RHPS 2 disc 25th anniversary edition dvd (woot!) plane ticket to see the boss and of course a little extra spending money and best of all little ole me is off to Scotland to see Eddie Izzard *squeals!*. Left early and was met by the boss and his loves mum (he wasn't too sure of the way to the airport) Stopped off on the way to his for something to eat by a canal and watched the boats, it was beautiful :) Arrived to be leapt upon by everyone else and their huge rhodesian ridgeback puppy hehe! (a total sweetheart and too cute!) Spent teh rest of the time talking and catching up over a bottle of vodka.

Fri 18th:
Went shopping then carried on with the vodka until we headed out to our friend and ex co-workers home where we all switched to wine (what a mix..) It was so good to see her, caught up on all the gossip and there was so much laughter :)

Packed!

Well, all ready to go do the visit ex boss/co workers thing :D I'm hoping this stuffy, hot weather eases off a little I really don't want to be crabby, sweaty and irratible over the short time I have :(

Toothache!

Arg....... a while back I had the very back tooth, upper right side, removed as for months I had been subjected to intense pain and absesses. This was found to be because unlike most normal people the thin layer of bone that runs above them, gods knows I'll never rember what it's called, stopped short of that tooth and although undamaged and there being no forthcoming reason as to why it should be it was dead. The other side gives me trouble now and then, same reason, but is undamaged and still 'live' I try not to chew with it or irratate in any form as apparrantly without it's bony protection it's in a sort of jelly (nice huh?) and moves because although held steadfast by the gum the root has nothing to stop it jarring. I'm loath to lose it, and it hasn't got as regularly troublesome as the other one, but tonight I'd gladly rip it out myself....

Well it seems that 'the 12th' (probably won't mean much to those not from N.Ireland) has passed peacefully enough, at least in my little secluded world. I never watch the news though it's too depressing.

Well, anyone who knows me is aware that up until xmas I was living and working in England, having to come home because the company I worked for was ran by trolls who after lies upon lies eventually went into administration leaving all of us out of work thus leaving me unable to afford to live where I was, nor did I care to any more.... consider it hell on toast... and if It wasn't for that job, my boss and all those who worked in our store I would have been back well before that, what can I tell ya, I'm a loyal being (there are a few who know what I went through)

Anyway my boss and I really had a ball, got on amazingly well, similar ages, had lots in common and we kept in contact and he has been bugging me about getting over there to see them. Today my mum bought me a ticket and I'll be spending my birthday (Thurs 17th) and that week-end staying with him and his familly. How chuffed am I! can't wait to see them all again, the kids are great and hopefully we're arranging to meet up with the rest of our little group too! *grins*

Gah!

Just what the hell is up with angelfire grrrrrrrr. They went down last night in the middle of me trying to save something (tries not to think of how stupid it looks now because she can't fix it) I've been woken up, I'm grouchy and it's still fucking giving me that stupid 'page cannot be displayed'

Well okay!!!! just as of right (read around 11:30pm) now I managed to get into the webshell!

Moo...

Yup you hear me! moo! because I simply feel like saying it so neh! Hehe, just wasting a few moments while I wait for the dryer to finish with, yet again, my entire wardrobe :D

And while I'm at it may I add that everything is incredibly, annoyingly loud hmph...

Sunday, Sunday

Asides from the fact that it's my dad's birthday and that my brother has just taken off for a week in Spain it's not been the most eventful of days. Have done the rounds of my daily reads and forums and my head and eyes are telling me that it may be time to stop staring at this screen :p. For the moment I think i'll resort to harrassing my little furry friends for a bit :)

Blah...

Just back from a second hospital appointment, first was on the 2nd and don't panic I'm not gonna drop dead or anything just yet :p Gods but I hate those places, spent too much time there as a child being poked and prodded, just reminds me and stresses me out. Doctor: 'Your blood pressure is a little high and your pulse is racing' No shit.. Doctor: 'may be because you are here' I'm thinking 'is'.

Anyway, this might lead to me having to have one of those heart monitors you take home and wear for 24 hours so they can see if it's anything above and beyond that. All this because my bone density could be considered zilch, and so far to medical amusement I haven't managed to fracture anything lol!

Now I'm going to wind down and heavilly caffinate myself....... yummy creamy.... latte! Happy 4th people, go forth and have fun! :D
